The wrenches were modified (carved) to be in perfect tune and we managed to get some of them to sustain their notes up to 10 seconds. The wrenches were played with everything from soft to hard mallets, muted variations, hammers, hotrods, modified metal objects, other wrenches, nails, drumsticks and we even ran electricity through the wrenches for extra punishment. The end-result is a highly versatile, tonal percussion instrument that can sound like anything from a Glockenspiel to Celeste, from traditional Rhodes to absolutely brutal mutilated music sound design.

Its vivid metallic colors were applied by firing mineral powders directly onto the solder. Seahorses hide in mangrove stands, coral reefs, and sea grass meadows where they remain camouflaged by deep brown and grey patterns, blending into the sea grass backgrounds.While seahorses turn vivid colors in surprising surroundings and social situations, this seahorse wiggled and squirmed until finally yielding its metal and bell-like resonances. Utilizing the fins, tail, and body brings bright harmonics nostalgic of banging on trash cans, delicate clinks, plunking kalimbas, and deep marimbas.

The Plucked Grand Piano was created by public demand from our users, since its never been properly deep sampled before. We took a world class piano (same as our Bowed Grand  Piano) through a humiliating process by recording every string with a custom pick, but with more emphasis on round robin (4 pr. string), since the playing style has a percussive quality to it. The instrument is best described as a hybrid crossbreed between a harp, clavinet, guitar/lute and the unforgettable sound of the harpsichord. In addition we added a bonus hammer-struck articulation, using a custom miniature hammer. The sound has some resemblance to a hammered dulcimer. The fancy naming and branding of the piano is irrelevant to us. We want the samples and music to speak for itself and we hope it speaks to you too.

The tool is specifically designed to give you that hybrid/modern sound to your compositions. The instrument contains a variety of core banks from the biggest mega-horns ever made to our new psychological signature sounds that just burns in your brainstem. We created some insanely big percussive rolls, which are awesome for transitions and a cool assortment of those trendy Dubstep Trailer FX. We also added fresh wooshes, risers and slamming hits that all have that strong, cut-through, sound used in trailers. In addition we added a massive collection of cursed sounds – ideal for dark scoring and horror trailers – and new categories such as hybrid drones, hybrid noises and ultra big drumkits. You will also find tonal elements, synth basses and manipulated choral effects, manipulated roaring vintage race cars that sounds unbelievably cool. Hybrid Tools Vol. 2 also contains a new category known as Defcon, which contains a massive amount of never-thought hybrid sounds. The library is using a highly advanced, yet ultra intuitive layout that essentially allows you to control most things from you keyboard. The bottom part of the keyboard controls the pitch of the sounds. The mid part of the keyboard controls the sounds themselves. The upper part of the keyboard gives you real-time control over all the effects, including distortion, phaser, flanger, lofi, convolution reverb, delay, lowpass, hipass and several other effects. In addition we also added a grain (bit-resolution) to the pitchbender and filter to the modwheel – giving you an extreme amount of controls right at your finger tips. Meta-data is an integrated part of Hybrid Tools 2. The entire library comes in open 44.1/24 Bit Format and all meta-data comes ready-made for Soundminer etc.

The main difference is that classic the wooden bars have been replaced with glass bars. The bars are struck with mallets to produce musical tones. This instrument is a type of xylophone, but with broader/warmer and lower tonal range. The origin of the marimba goes back Guatamala and Mayan culture and is not of African decent – though it sounds like it. We deep sampled this gorgeous deep-sampled instrument, which contains +2.000 samples. All core articulations were deep-sampled separately and consists of soft mallet, hard mallet, muted and finger samples. In addition we created a variety of FX and ambient patches – all made with the Glass Marimba.

Deskripsi Produk	Barbary Solo Vocals VST-AU-AAX – Kontakt Instruments & Samples overview Barbary Grant is a highly renowned vocalist and harper within Celtic communities. She sings- and articulates fluently- in all three Goidelic languages: Scots Gaelic, Irish, and Manx. This homage won her first place in the sean nós competition at the 1998 Great American Irish Fair. Sean nós – “old style” in Irish – is a highly ornamented style of a cappella singing. This Barbary library is constructed from over 1450 different vocal phrases covering over 12 hours of recording material. The majority phrases in the library are based on majority of classic (public domain) songs from the Celtic, Gaelic, Irish, Scots, Welsh and Manx music folklore. Additionally the library contains a variety of more experimental phrases, including whisper songs, chantings, lullabys, elwish whispers and basic sustained notes. The Barbary Solo Vocals VST library follows programming and editing techniques introduced in our Forgotten Voices: Francesca library. The programming allows user to sculpt- and morph phrases by adjusting the mod-wheel and pitch bender. The mod-wheel controls the sample starting point, so users can trigger off-set anywhere they want in the phrases. The pitch bender allows you to time-stretch / compress the phrase. Special key-switching also allows you to adjust to root pitch of all phrases in a patch by up to +/- 3 semitones. The combination between sample off-set control, root pitch control and time-stretch / compression allows users to seamlessly morph different phrases together, which brings endless possibilities for creating new phrases. In addition Barbary contains a bonus set of vocal ambiences made by Steven Tavaglione (Instrumentalist and Sound Designer; Wall-E, American Beauty, CSI, Supernatural and 100s other movies/shows/games). Most core vocal phrase and ambient instrument patches are now also available in the EXS24 format, although time-stretching and sample offset features are not supported. All demos are played live using one vocal ambience and one set of vocals pr. demo, so they literally took 3-5 minutes to compose. We wanted to show a completely “naked” approach to using the vocals.

From tobacco pipes all the way to space shuttle insulation, and plenty in between. That range of uses now includes a set of beautiful tuned bells. Actually, these bells are a set of Pyrex mixing bowls. The bowls range in size from 4 inches in diameter to 12 inches. They were played using a wooden spoon, metal knife, and a rubber spatula. Some of the effects were made using a saw blade, and due to the inherent resilience of this type of glass the bowls are no worse for the wear. We hope this library is as useful and long-lasting in your digital instrument repertoire as the bowls are in our kitchen.

Deskripsi Produk	Basstard – Kontakt Instrument and Samples VST-AU-AAX overview Basstard is a multi-sampled instrument focused on recording the gradual destruction of a full-scale orchestral bass. The library contains four core categories of sounds: “Tonal”, “Percussive”, “FX” and “Grooves”. The tonal category covers more traditional multi-sampled articulations like plucked, staccato, rubber mallet on strings, regular drum stick on strings, fork on strings and other tool that could be used for tonal sampling. The percussive category contains a variety of heavy round-robin based articulations playing the instrument like a drum kit (containing 6-10 round robin articulations). The FX category has a gruesome amount of FX made with anything from bowing bass with baseball bat, using a powerdrill on the strings and recording sustained notes from it – to actually powerdrilling the bass and reconfigure the instrument – separating its neck from its body and essentially reassemble the instrument in horrible ways. The Groove category contains unique tempo-synched BPM-based grooves recorded at several core tempos (80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140). The end-result is a deep-sampled instrument that pushes the concept of orchestral bass into a more dark, gritty, percussive and disturbing territory.

Beyond the strums, palm-mutes, plucks, picks, squeals, pinch-harmonics and lightning fast, finger-bleeding leads typically played on guitars, there lies a dreamy, synthy, rarely heard realm of droning beauty in the guitar. Of course there is still room for plenty of range within this realm. You’ll find sounds from awe-inspiring beauty to fist-clenching rage, from the eerie unknown to somber loneliness, from pulse-pounding horror to gentle, soothing harmony. Taking a small step back from the realm of pure ambience is a select group of bonus post-apocalyptic-inspired, minimalist phrases. These phrases are all still very ambient in nature and are meant to work perfectly on top of the purely ambient patches. But what’s that you say? You want to be able to play your own melodies?
